Just Right Blouse, CabbagesThe questions I ask my kids often have a similar ending—Is the tub water too hot or just right? Did you want more macaroni or is this just right? “Just right” is music to my ears and heart. I think we pulled it off in this blouse. The sleeves are gathered just so, and so they puff just the right amount. The length is just right (low hip), as is the crisp collar. The back darts create just the right amount of shape. But, technicalities aside, this blouse has been designed to pull your day together. We chose geometric Liberty prints because we wanted the matter-of-factness that shapes and lines bring complimented by bold zigzag embroidery at the front placket. Don’t get us wrong—it’s not as comfortable as those fancy track suits but this could hold it’s own in the board-room or at the playground. Don’t blame us if you get too many compliments.
